The Mehri language is a spoken language in the south of Arabian Peninsula , addressed by some scholars years ago, including those who saw it as a remnant of the South Arabic language (Hamiriyah), some of whom brought it closer to the classical Arabic language, some of whom cut it closer to the ancient Semitic language . whereas some studies determinate that the Mehri Language has a life span of 3,000 years, while others considered to be over 5,000 years old, based on anthropology.
It is the tongue of the Mehri people belonging to: Mehra Ben-Haidan Ben-Amr Ben-Lahaf Ben-Gotha’a, and then extends to Malik Ben-Hamir. In this dictionary there are many Mehri vocabularies related to pronouns, numbers, prepositions, names, verbs, adjectives and adverbs .
