Dr. Saeed Najadan Al-Qumairi , on scientific visit to the Faculty of Languages at the University of Aden. Where he was received by Prof. Gamal Mohammed Ahmed Abdullah, Dean of the Faculty of Languages, and Dr. Abdel Nasser Al-Naqeeb, Vice Dean.
In this meeting, Dr. Al-Qumairi introduced the goals of the Mehri Language Center for Studies and Research, and presented a small part of his research and indicated some of his experiences on analyzing and documenting the Mehri language. Emphasizing that the Mehri language is characterized by unique morphological and grammatical characteristics, which made it comparable to all ancient Arabic languages, due to the ancient linguistic manifestations it contains.
At the end of the meeting, everyone agreed to hold an introductory workshop in the Mehri language for college students in three different groups. Where, next Monday morning, Dr. Al-Qumairi will present his scientific material on this topic, and he will involve non-Mehri speaking students on how to pronounce and speak some vocabulary and sentences of the Mehri language inside the workshop hall.
In addition, Dr. Jamal, the dean of the college, submitted a proposal to hold an extensive scientific symposium on the Mahri language, and to include it in the activities of the faculty to be held in the next few months. All intellectuals and those interested in linguistic affairs will be invited from all over. Scientific and cultural institutions in Aden and abroad

At the end of the meeting, he expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Deanship of the faculty for the warm reception, appreciating all the sincere efforts in knowledge and scientific cooperation.
